Bracelet length
Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone with a soft tape or paper strip, then choose how you like it to fit.
A guide only; bracelet designs fit differently. See bracelets and cuffs.
Bangle sizes
Indian bangle sizes describe the inner diameter in inches and sixteenths of an inch. Size 2.6 means 2 and 6/16 inches.
| Indian size | Inner diameter (mm, approx.) | Inches |
|---|---|---|
| 2.2 | 54.0 | 2 2/16 |
| 2.4 | 57.2 | 2 4/16 |
| 2.6 | 60.3 | 2 6/16 |
| 2.8 | 63.5 | 2 8/16 |
| 2.10 | 66.7 | 2 10/16 |
Openable kada are often sized by wrist instead. Check each seller's chart. See bangles and kada.
Earring dimensions
Earrings are usually listed as length × width. Check whether the length includes the hook or post, and look for the weight in grams per earring.
| Length | Typical look | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 2 cm | Studs, huggies, small drops | Daily wear, work |
| 2–4 cm | Jhumkis, medium drops | Dinners, festivals |
| 4–7 cm | Large jhumkas, chandbalis | Weddings, parties |
| 7 cm and more | Shoulder-dusters, bridal earrings | Statement looks; mind the weight |
Tip: weigh a pair you find comfortable on a kitchen scale and use it as your benchmark. See lightweight vs heavy earrings.
